11 Jul OOTD: FLORAL ROMPER
A vacation is the best way to recenter yourself after months, or even years, of working or studying. I’m spending my summer vacation with my family in Virginia Beach. It’s an annual trip that we make, although not always at V.B. While I’m O.O.O. and rediscovering my peace, I’ll be sharing my vacation outfits. Read more for #ootd details.
Virginia Beach is a beautiful getaway destination. It has a little bit of everything- beach, bars, shopping, museums, boardwalk, amusement parks, live entertainment, and more. I think it’s a great alternative to an out-of-country vacation or an expensive trip to California. My family has been to V.B. three times now and also have a timeshare here. So, I highly suggest visiting this area for a nice, relaxing and down to Earth trip.
Now, about this outfit. I was scrambling last minute to get some summer outfits for this trip. Unfortunately, I tend to purchase tight, body hugging clothes- nothing appropriate for 90 degree weather (but is that really a bad thing, though?). It just so happens that Forever 21 was my saving grace. All of my outfits for this vacation were found there. I was hunting for light and flowing pieces that could lick away sweat and not leave me walking around like a fool with pit stains and butt crack sweat lines. I’ve recently become keen to rompers and I think this one’s my favorite of all time (Kanye voice). Although it is pant-length, the cotton-like fabric is extremely thin and light. And you guys know I love a nice floral print! Couldn’t say no this this one.
