Bartenura Moscato is by far the best Moscato that I’ve ever tasted. But then again, I only drink the cheap stuff. I’m not a wine connoisseur by any means. I started drinking wine about 2 years ago and hated it. I cannot stand the taste of red wine– I’m a girl who likes sweet flavors. I’m actually baffled at how people prefer dry, red wines over white wines. Even the sweetest red wine is too tart for my palette. But, to each their own.
For all my white wine lovers out there who are beginning the wine journey, have a sweet palette, or are on a budget much like myself, I highly recommend this delicious wine. Its sweetness tastes as if you were drinking directly from the godliest Moscato-iest grape ever created. And to top it off, bubbles tickle your nose as you take a sip. Reminds me of the time my 7-year-old self guzzled a few flutes of Sprite at my parents’ wedding, only to later find out that it was champagne. It was the best, bubbliest, fake Sprite I ever tasted!
This 750 mL bottle will hit your wallet lightly, costing around $14. I haven’t come across a larger size, unfortunately. Besides that, the only other downside is that once you open the bottle, it its really difficult to put the cork back in. But I guess that’s not too much of a problem when my boyfriend and I finished the bottle in one sitting. Oh, and the bottle is a gorgeous royal blue that I wouldn’t mind treasuring in my kitchen for eternity. Tell your taste buds I said…
