Tanaye White is an American model, mental health advocate, and entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of culture, wellness, and technology. A Baltimore native by way of Connecticut, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Master's degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University.

After a successful marketing career in defense, she was handpicked by Kate Upton to become a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie, making history as the first Black winner of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's model search and the publication's third-ever model featured with an afro. She has since built an impressive roster of brand partnerships spanning Victoria's Secret, L'Oreal Paris, Juicy Couture, Fenty Beauty, Nike, Camille Rose, and Vita Coco.

A committed mental health advocate, White has hosted galas for mental health advocacy, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's 2022 Lifesavers Gala, serves on the host committee for Room To Grow, and travels to schools nationwide to speak on self-esteem.

Now, she is turning her platform into impact. SPILLWELL, her tech venture, delivers anonymous peer-to-peer support to Gen Z and college students — addressing the growing youth mental health crisis through the trusted connections already in their phones. For White, SPILLWELL is her legacy.
